2 cinnamon

5 cardamom, crushed pods

0.25 cupcognac

5 cloves, whole

1 tspginger

0.5 cupdemerara sugar

750 mLBeaujolais wine

Combine ingredients and heat gently, in a crockpot or nonreactive saucepan over low heat.
