The Smoked Old Fashioned

Charge a glass decanter with cherrywood smoke from a smoking gun and lid it.

Stir rye, simple syrup, and cardamom bitters with ice in a mixing glass, then strain into the smoked decanter.

Cover and swirl to take on the smoke.

Serve over a king cube in a rocks glass and finish with a lemon swatch.
